Fabricate and install complete exterior and interior sign program at Union Station in downtown Chicago. Sign types included channel letters, custom illuminated pylons, electronic message displays, custom hanging signs, vinyl graphics, vandal resistant maps, lightbox displays, plaques, ADA compliant signage and custom canopy sign.
e-Port @ 600 West Chicago – a 1.5 million square foot mixed-use building that includes offices, a telco hotel and residential apartments – is a perfect example of H.M. Fort Sheridan was built in the 1880's during a period when Chicago was growing from a pioneer settlement to a thriving urban center. A large portion of land became The Town of Fort Sheridan in 1993, the first new community on the lakefront in over 100 years. H.M. Witt & Co. was selected as the sole provider of signage for this historic new development. Working closely with town planners and architects, H.M. The Grand Plaza, a major mixed-use retail, residential and parking complex, is located in Chicago's thriving River North area. Bed Bath & Beyond and Whole Foods are some of The Grand Plaza’s anchor tenants. H.M. Witt & Co., worked closely with the developers for the project: U.S. Equities, Cataldo/Marovitz LLC, Magellan Development Group and Near North Properties, as well as the project architect, Loewenberg + Associates. When Am Shalom Synagogue in Glencoe decided to renovate their space, the architects had an unusual signage project in hand. Part donor recognition, part ADA compliant room identification and part wayfinding, H.M. Witt & Co. was brought on board to fabricate and manage this extensive project. Glass sandblasting, brass letters, custom cast iron logos--the materials and construction methods specified by the architects ran the gamut. Coach is America’s preeminent provider of quality handbags and other quality products. After completing a company wide branding update, H.M. Witt & Co. was selected for the Branding Conversion Program – to manage, manufacture and install new signage throughout their organization. With over 200 plus Coach stores in the United States, no two stores are alike or have the same specifications for the signs. Each location has their own set of municipal regulations and permit procedures to address. New signage produced for Coach includes dimensional letters, plaques, awnings, and window displays.
