e-Port @ 600 West Chicago – a 1.5 million square foot mixed-use building that includes offices, a telco hotel and residential apartments – is a perfect example of H.M. Witt & Co.’s technological capabilities meeting the needs a technologically advanced client and an architect’s technorific design.

Fort Sheridan
Fort Sheridan was built in the 1880’s during a period when Chicago was growing from a pioneer settlement to a thriving urban center.
A large portion of land became The Town of Fort Sheridan in 1993, the first new community on the lakefront in over 100 years. H.M. Witt & Co. was selected as the sole provider of signage for this historic new development. Working closely with town planners and architects, H.M. Witt & Co. utilized a full repertoire of sign making skills to deliver the signs that represent the aspirations of this historic project.

Grand Plaza
The Grand Plaza, a major mixed-use retail, residential and parking complex, is located in Chicago’s thriving River North area. Bed Bath & Beyond and Whole Foods are some of The Grand Plaza’s anchor tenants. H.M. Witt & Co., worked closely with the developers for the project: U.S. Equities, Cataldo/Marovitz LLC, Magellan Development Group and Near North Properties, as well as the project architect, Loewenberg + Associates. H.M. Witt & Co. managed the entire approval, manufacture and installation of the signage package.
Club Quarters
Signage packages for Chicago and New York hotels. Projects features include ADA compliant etched zinc, photopolymer, unit identification, directional, core room signs, evacuations, flat cutout bronze lettering / logos, and brass building identification plaques.
